Operation And Daily Maintenance Of Screw Oil Press Machine

1.Preparation

1. The temperature of workshop should be kept at 15 ~ 20℃，because temperature affect oil field and his quality.

2. Before pressing oil, prepare all necessary tools for feeding, receiving oil, removing impurities, dredging hopper and cleaning machine.

3. Check transmission and lubrication system to ensure flexible rotation and adequate lubrication.

4. Open and test empty machine. If the machine screams, knocks or others during the operation, stop the machine immediately and check it.

5. Water content of material is very important. There is the optimal water content for various material: peanut: 8 ~ 11%, soybean: 5 ~ 8%, cotton seed: 4 ~ 6%, rape seed: 6 ~ 8%. If you don’t have moisture tester, the following method can help you choose appropriate moisture content of oil material.

(1) Cotton seed: Break cotton seed by tooth, shelled kernels easy to separate when the cotton seed is suitable.

(2) Soybean: Bite soybean by tooth, silvery snap means water content is appropriate. 

(3) Peanut: Fry peanut to 60℃, preheat chamber in oil press, and then press it. 

(4) Rape seed: when cold press, pinch rape seed by fingernails will be squeeze rapeseed sound. 

2. Operation 

1. After preparation, rarely and uniformly feed material into machine, in order to heat the chamber, at the same time, observe oil outlet.

2. According to type and water content of oil material, operator should correspondent adjust the temperature of chamber. Press dry oil material need high temperature, to the contrary, moist material can be pressed at 60℃.

3. 0.3-1.0 mm is the proper cake thickness,so operator should slowly adjust the gap to this thickness and then feed more material to chamber. 

4. During operation, operator has to check the outlet often. If the machine can’t out put the cake or stop outlet, stop feeding, draw out the main shaft, and clean the block.

5. Frequently pick up leakage and press the leakage again. 

6. At the second press, brake the cage into 10 mm. pieces, and feed into chamber. Usually, soybean should press 2 times and peanut and cotton seed 2-3 times.

7. If the metal or any other hard objects fall into chamber, operator should stop the machine immediately.

8. 1-2 minutes before stop the machine, operator should stop feeding the material, close the blank of feeder,and then roll out the screw plate 2-3 circles, in order to increase the gap in chamber and put out useless cake. 

3. Maintenance 

1. Regularly lubricate all parts by butter or lubricating oil. Lubricate the copper sleeve and adjustment screw sleeve every 4-5 hours worked. After 3-4 months worked bearing should be cleaned and refilled with butter. 

2. Check oil press machine every 3-4 months.
